12 candidates selected in placement camp at District Employment and Commerce Bureau, Rupnagar

Rupnagar, September 24: In order to provide employment opportunities to the unemployed youth of the district, the District Employment and Commerce Bureau, Rupnagar, under the guidance of Deputy Commissioner-cum-Chairman DBEE Rupnagar Varjit Walia, IAS and Additional Deputy Commissioner (Rural Development)-cum-CEO DBEE Rupnagar Mrs. Chandrajyoti Singh, IAS, is organizing weekly placement camps. Under this series, a placement camp was organized at District Employment and Commerce Bureau, Rupnagar on September 24.
Giving information about this camp, Prabhjot Singh, District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer, Rupnagar said that in this camp, only female candidates were interviewed by LIC company for 30 posts of LIC Bima Sakhi (Female Career Agent).

He said that the minimum age of the candidates should be 18 years and maximum 70 years and the qualification should be 10th/12th or graduation. The selected candidates will get 7000/- per month + commission in the first year, 6000/- per month + commission in the second year and 5000/- per month + commission in the third year. After this, the normal commission of the candidate will also continue. The job location is District Rupnagar.
He further informed that apart from this, Vardhman Special Steel Limited, Ludhiana interviewed 12th/Graduation pass candidates for 4 posts of Field Coordinator and salary for this post will be given on target basis.
He informed that a total of 20 candidates participated in this camp and 12 candidates were selected. The District Employment Bureau appealed to the youth to take maximum benefit of such placement camps.
