Rupnagar, September 24, 2025 : With the aim of providing better health facilities to the people of the district, today, Civil Surgeon Rupnagar Dr. Sukhwinderjit Singh conducted a surprise inspection of Aam Aadmi Clinic PWD Colony and Kotla Nihang. During the checking, all the staff were found present on duty and the stock of prescribed medicines was also available in sufficient quantity. Necessary test kits, record registers etc. were also checked.
The Civil Surgeon took stock of the health facilities being provided by interacting with the patients visiting the clinics. He instructed the concerned doctors and staff to ensure that the patients visiting the clinics do not face any kind of inconvenience and that the necessary stock of medicines is available at all times.
He asked the staff to ensure that the patients get maximum benefit from the health facilities provided by the government and special attention should be paid to maternal and child health services. Early registration of pregnant women should be ensured and a list of high risk cases should be prepared and necessary services should be provided to them on priority basis.
The Civil Surgeon instructed the staff to record the data of all patients online so that the department can get data related to health schemes. This will enable timely identification of diseases and make treatment easier. He also instructed to pay special attention to cleanliness of the clinics and bio-medical waste management.
During his interaction with the patients, he expressed satisfaction with the services being provided.
