Sri Anandpur Sahib, September 18: In the final match of the cricket tournament organized in Sri Anandpur Sahib block under the ‘Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan’ organized by the Punjab Government, the Ajoli team performed brilliantly and secured the first position and won the trophy. In the final match, the Ajoli team displayed excellent sportsmanship and captured the title, while the Aspur team secured the second position and won the honor of the runner-up.
During the tournament, the players displayed their talent with full enthusiasm, excitement and sportsmanship. There was a lot of excitement among the players as well as the audience regarding the final match. The players of both the teams played to their full potential and made the match exciting. During this, Ajoli’s team secured the first place on the strength of its consistent performance.
Kuldeep, a player from the winning team of Ajoli, was awarded the title of ‘Man of the Series’ for his excellent performance during the tournament. His performance in various competitions of the tournament was appreciated. While honoring the winning and runner-up teams with prizes, the organizers encouraged the players to remain associated with sports in the future as well.
On this occasion, Chief Athletic Coach of Marshall Academy Sardar Jagbir Singh, Athletic Coach Sardar Darpal Singh, Football Coach Sushil Kumar and Amarjit Singh honored the winning Ajoli and runner-up Aspur teams. Congratulating the players, they said that such sports competitions are important to connect the youth with sports and hone their talent.
