Rupnagar 25 September: The ten-day Annual Training Camp-126 organized by 7 Haryana NCC Battalion, Karnal from 16 to 25 September at NCC Academy, Rupnagar was successfully concluded. After the closing ceremony, all the cadets returned to Karnal with discipline and renewed enthusiasm.
7 Haryana NCC Battalion Commanding Officer Colonel K.K. Venkataraman said that in this camp, various educational institutions of Karnal such as Guru Nanak Khalsa College Karnal, Government PG College Karnal, Government (Women) College Karnal, Government ITI Karnal, Mata Sundari (Women) Khalsa College Nursing, DAV PG College A total of 435 cadets from College Karnal, Pratap Public School Karnal, Adarsh ​​Public School Karnal, Delhi Public School Karnal and Pratap Public School etc. participated.

He said that during the camp, the cadets were given various trainings like drill, physical training, weapons training, field craft, battle drill, map reading, explanation and personal development. Along with this, cultural activities, social service programs, exciting activities and sports competitions like volleyball, Kho-Kho, running, tent pitching, Badha Run etc. were also organized. These activities further strengthened the discipline, self-confidence, team spirit and leadership skills among the cadets.
He further said that during the camp, the cadets also visited the Mahal Ranjit Singh Park located on the banks of the Sutlej river, due to which they experienced the importance of nature conservation and historical heritage. During the closing ceremony, the best performing cadets were felicitated and they were motivated for active participation in the society and national service in future.
This camp was organized under the leadership of Colonel K.K. Venkataraman, Commanding Officer of 7 Haryana NCC Battalion. It was attended by Adm. Officer Lt. Col. S.S. Negi, Subedar Major Balraj Singh, Camp Adjutant Lt. Devi Bhushan, Lt. Richa, Lt. Malkhan Singh, Lt. Gurmeet, Lt. Sandeep, Lt. Vijay, Subedar Vikram, B.H.M. Avinash, C.H.M. Amarinder Singh, Havaldar Ishwar Singh and Senior Under Officer Suraj etc.
