69th Inter-District School Games Handball Under-14 Boys Competition Ends with Glory

Rupnagar, October 19: The 69th Inter-District School Games Handball Under-14 Boys Competition ended with glory yesterday at Khalsa Senior Secondary School Rupnagar.
yesterday , the prizes were distributed to the winning players in these games by District Education Officer Rupnagar Mr. Prem Kumar Mittal. At this time, District Sports Coordinator Mrs. Sharanjit Kaur and Principal S. Kulwinder Singh were also present with him.
Giving information about the results of these games, Vice Convener S. Puneet Singh Lali said that today, after the pre-quarter and quarter-final matches, Faridkot district defeated SAS Nagar and Rupnagar district defeated Patiala district in the semi-final matches and entered the final. After this, in the hard line competition, SAS Nagar district defeated Patiala district by a margin of 17-7 goals and secured the third place. Finally, in the final competition, Faridkot district defeated Rupnagar district by a margin of 25-14 goals and Punjab won the title.

State Awardee S. Narinder Singh Banga said that various committees contributed to the successful completion of these games. In order to conduct these games in a transparent manner and to select the Punjab team, the Education Department Punjab has appointed Miss Kulwinder Kaur Lecturer School of Eminence Nawanshahr, S. Amarjit Singh PTI S. M. S. S. PAU Ludhiana and S. Harjinder Singh PTI S. S. Deh Kalan Sangrur as selectors. To fill the certificates of these games in beautiful handwriting, the team of S. Narinder Singh Banga, including Vijay Kumar Chanoli Bassi, Mrs. Navjot Kaur Akbarpur, Mrs. Baldeep Kaur Khairabad and Mrs. Malkit Kaur Malakpur, performed their duty with full dedication. For the successful completion of these games, S. Gurjit Singh Ji, in-charge of Ground Number One, along with his team, Mrs. Narinder Kaur, Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur, Mrs. Kuldeep Kaur, Mrs. Rupinder Kaur and Miss Pooja contributed their contribution. S. Gurpal Singh, in-charge of Ground Number Two, along with his team, Mrs. Sarabjit Kaur, S. Gurtej Singh, Mrs. Ranveer Kaur Ji contributed their contribution.
